About Us

If you're about to send off your precious photos to a third party company, like us, you may want to be reassured of who you are sending them to . So we are pleased to tell you a little about us, who we are and what we do.

Click2Scan Ltd was started by Martin & Louise Peirce, a husband and wife team back in 2007. We are a typical family with two boys, Harry & George and Chester the dog. The business has grown faster and larger than we ever imagined but the core principle of our photo scanning service remains the same - offer a great service, with great quality at an affordable price. 

Life for us is one of working hard during the week and then hopefully taking time out at the weekends to catch up with the boys and to take it easy. Like most people we enjoy the odd holiday, having a coffee out, country walks and loud music.

Our Photo Scanning Service happened by accident really. I used to work for Canon and one weekend borrowed one of their big scanners and scanned all our old photos. I didn't do that good a job of it but nonetheless it was really nice to have them all together on our Mac so we could create some albums and pull together our wedding photos, kids baby pictures, our 90's holidays and so on. Like everyone else we now use digital cameras so had all the new stuff on the computer and the old photos in boxes and drawers all over the house.

We started Click2Scan in March 2007 to provide a range of services around document scanning (mainly to businesses). Despite the challenging economic climate we continue to grow and put this down to the commitment we show our customers. Whether we are receiving a handful of photos or scanning a councils housing archive, or a surgerys important patient information, we ensure we deliver a quality service that our customers are pleased with and are happy to recommend us to their friends, colleagues or customers.

Since that weekend of scanning our own photos, we have gone onto perfecting our scanning service and the photo scanning side of the business that Louise oversees, assisted by Maddi Clayton. Maddi ensures that we turn the orders around quickly, and makes sure that the quality of scans are excellent. We use the best hardware and software available for bulk scanning and have a collection and return shipping service that works well, allowing us to track our orders right the way back to you.

We've recently moved to a much bigger office in Frome, from a small town called Mere - on the Wiltshire Dorset border. The A303 runs close by, linking the West Country to London. We are surrounded by wonderful countryside so if you fancy a trip down to drop off your photos personally you are more than welcome, but make sure you allow enough time to visit Stourhead - "The Jewel in the Crown of the National Trust", which is ony 10 miles from our door. That's perfect dog walking territory for us, and a photographer's Mecca!
