Do I need 300 dpi or 600 dpi |

This is asked most frequently. The answer is really what do you want to use the scanned images for ? If you are purely storing your photos on a laptop and you are never likely to view them on a screen larger than 20" then 300 dpi is sufficient. However, screens are getting bigger and it's really easy now to do slideshows on your 42" TV using your Playstation 3, Xbox or DVD player with the USB port on the front. To future proof we recommend 600 dpi. This allows you to view a 6" x 4" scanned holiday photo full size on a big 42" TV without pixelation. In addition, if you ever compose a photo book, 600 dpi allows you to zoom in on an area of a photo or include a small photo which can be printed enlarged. |

Can you scan old school photos |

We can scan anything ! Upto 44" wide and down to a passport photo. We have even scanned wardrobe doors for a client. |

My photos are precious Im worried about loosing them |

No body has every lost a photo sending them to us and we havent lost any sending back. Everyones photos are precious and you can read our testimonials to see that we do a fantastic job. As long as you send your photos using a tracked service there is no reason to expect any problems. We may even be able to collect your photos ourselves especially if you have a large amount and are in the south of England. |

I cant see a package for the number of photos I have |

That's not a problem as you can mix and match them. E.g if you have 750 photos you can buy a 600 and a 150 package. We always charge the best price for you. |

That's not a problem, send your photos through with an order form, and we will charge you once we have finished and have counted the photos. You can download our pdf order form by finding it under the FAQ tab in the red menu bar. |

Yes, use our fast track service and we will process your order within 2 days. We can also arrange for scanned images to be downloaded as well. |

Yes, if it's cost effective for you we will ship your photos back to any country in Europe where we can arrange shipping with someone like TNT or DHL. We can also arrange for photos to be downloaded. |

Yes, if you can get the photos to us, we will ship back to you. If placing an order online you can select Ireland as the shipping country. The return shipping charges are higher for Ireland & Northern Ireland |

The quality of the scan is excellent - your photos will look the same on screen and the resolution is similar to a 5 mega pixel digital camera. We can scan at 300 dpi or 600 dpi to suit although 600 dpi is more expensive as it takes us longer. 600 dpi is best suited for photos books and large HD TV shows. |

How do you send my order back to me ? |

We use UM Mail (a courier) - make sure you put down a shipping address where somebody is able to sign for them as delivery will be between 9 and 6 pm |

We aim to turn most orders around within 3 -4 working days. We now offer a fast track service for urgent orders where we commit to 2 working days return. Our workloads vary and turn around times can vary accordingly from the same day to a maximum of 10 days. |

How do I get my photos to you |

Just send them to us using Royal Mail Special Delivery or look online at www.parcel2go.com or Interparcel.co.uk. Ensure you use a tracked service and also make sure you pack your photos well. You will notice when placing an order we also offer a collection service which is free for orders over £200. |
