Testimonials
Pics arrived very quickly and were excellently scanned, despite years of being pinned up and sellotaped to the walls! If you set up a group on facebook, I will happily become a fan and maybe you can get some viral marketing going? Oddly enough, facebook is exactly where some of my pics ended up. Matthew, London |
| Do I need 300 dpi or 600 dpi |

This is asked most frequently. The answer is really what do you want to use the scanned images for ? If you are purely storing your photos on a laptop and you are never likely to view them on a screen larger than 20" then 300 dpi is sufficient. However, screens are getting bigger and it's really easy now to do slideshows on your 42" TV using your Playstation 3, Xbox or DVD player with the USB port on the front. To future proof we recommend 600 dpi. This allows you to view a 6" x 4" scanned holiday photo full size on a big 42" TV without pixelation. In addition, if you ever compose a photo book, 600 dpi allows you to zoom in on an area of a photo or include a small photo which can be printed enlarged. |
