How To Work Out How Many Photos You Have
Let's assume you have all photos, no packets or anything else like negatives. Photos for this purpose are standard 6" x 4" in size. Here's a simple way to work out how may photos you have using your ruler.
- 100 Photos = 2.7 cm pile
- 150 Photos = 4 cm pile
- 240 Photos = 6.5 cm pile
- 600 Photos = 16 cm pile
- 1000 Photos = 27 cm
- 2000 Photos = 54 cm
- 5000 Photos = 1.3 linear metres of photos
Weighing your photos is also a good way of working it out. This again assumes 6" x 4" photos.
- 100 Photos = 370 grams
- 150 Photos = 550 grams
- 240 Photos = 880 grams
- 600 Photos = 2.2 Kilos
- 1000 Photos = 3.7 Kilos
- 2000 Photos = 7.4 Kilos
- 5000 Photos = 18.5 Kilos
